The aim of the strategic project, DGS30 (Decarbonation of the Salins Group for 2030), is to define a low-carbon trajectory based on the international ACT ‘Step by Step’ methodology and then to implement it.

The Salins Group has used the guidelines of the Science Based Targets (SBT) initiative to define its ambitions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the objective of limiting global warming to below 2°C.

The Salins Group has been working for several years on optimising its production means and reducing its energy consumption. It wanted to strengthen its actions by setting ambitious objectives and to break down into 4 major complementary themes :

The Salins Group is present in many countries and has adopted a global approach but taking into account the specificities of each one in order to have a coherent trajectory.

The Salins Group has focused its actions on the 3 main items of scope emissions, which represent almost 90% of its emissions, which are freight, inputs and packaging.

The Salins Group, by adopting a low-carbon trajectory through its DGS30 project, shows a strong commitment to reducing its CO2 emissions and transitioning to a more sustainable future.

This initiative is fully in line with the Salins Group's CSR approach, which confirms its role as a committed player aware of today's challenges, in order to meet the growing expectations of its stakeholders.
