The Salins Group has been in existence for over 160 years and now employs 2,200 people who work every day, in line with a responsible development approach, to provide high-quality salt and contribute to the success of industrial customers and consumer satisfaction.

The Salins Group is one of Europe’s leading salt producers and the only pure salt producer dedicated exclusively to the production and marketing of salt.

It is also the only European player to master and implement all three salt production techniques: solar, thermal and mining. It can supply salt in all its forms, whether raw or processed, and for all applications: food, agriculture, chemicals, de-icing, water treatment and other industrial activities.

Drawing on this expertise, the Group’s production capacity stands at 4 million tonnes of salt per year, across its industrial facilities in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Tunisia and Senegal. As for its logistics and commercial operations, these extend beyond the borders of the countries where the Group operates and have a global reach.
