Inaugurated in 1997, the salt works at Zarzis is COTUSAL’s latest facility and testifies to the Company’s commitment to development. Its production policy has been designed with long-term development in mind.

Primarily an export facility, the shipments are made from the new port of Zarzis (a few kilometres away), from the company’s own, high performance facilities. The screening and grinding operations, when requested by the customer, are performed directly as the ships are loaded.

Just like the other salt works, a laboratory follows up the quality offered to customers.
