The Salins Group feels compelled to respond to the allegations that the ‘normal’ consumption of salt could pose a serious risk to health. If such allegations were proved, the group would have to take stock of the consequences and change its relationship and communication policy with its users accordingly.
Not being qualified medically, and therefore not qualified to give an opinion on this question, the Salins Group, in partnership with the entire salt industry (see: Comité salines de France | Eu-Salt | Salt Institute), has decided to place the matter in the hands of the scientists.
