Salins Italia the Italian entity of the Salins group.

 Salins Italia has been present in Italy since 1981 and was formed when production was still under state monopoly. The company has concentrated its efforts on the packaging and marketing of commercial products, developed in its Porto Viro , using sea salt imported from the Mediterranean facilities of the Salins group.

On the salt for consumption market, the GEMMA® brand has reached a pre-eminent position based on a high quality, comprehensive range and completely reliable service.

Salins Italia also has a significant presence on the water softening market through its AQUA® brand. The company also markets, under the trade name CIS®, the industrial salts that it packages in Italy. Finally, Salins Italia distributes all of the group’s industrial salts.

Certified ISO9001, version 2000, Salins Italia is the reference in terms of quality and compliance with the regulatory requirements (food safety, traceability, iodination, etc.) on the Italian market.
